Welcome to a world where the healing arts of Ayurveda meet modern fashion.
Be prepared for jewelry that is not simply adornment, but therapeutic.

Welcome to SHAKTI.

As old as the Vedas.

SHAKTIgem provides new answers to old jewelry questions- using the wisdom of the Vedic teachings dating back thousands and thousands of years. These ancient Eastern scriptures describe which precious stones are healthy for people to wear, and in which combinations, and why. The pinnacle of this "Vedic Jewelry" tradition would be considered Sri Navaratna, or "The Nine Gems". A Navaratna consists of a central ruby, with surrounding pearl, yellow sapphire, blue sapphire, emerald, diamond, garnet, cat's eye (or tiger's eye), and red coral. It is explained that each of the stones represents one of the heavenly bodies of the Vedic cosmology, and has a therapeutic effect on the human body.

How can jewelry be therapeutic?

Sometimes people ask "How could the earth's rotation or some planetary force impact my life in any way?" This question has been answered again and again by generations of Vedic jewelers, and the answer goes something like this: "Now we all know that these planetary objects simply orbit around the Sun- how could it effect you? Yet, if you go and stand with your bare feet in the middle of the asphalt on Noon at the peak of Summer, you will know very quickly how you can be harmed by the orbits of the planets!" The Navaratna is the jewelry equivalent of putting something on your bare feet... when it comes to any difficulties that the planetary bodies may rain down.

In addition, the Vedas teach of the existence of energy centers in the body which can become unbalanced, seven in total, and are associated with the seven colors of the visible spectrum. Our Chakra jewelry includes a ruby, orange sapphire, yellow sapphire, emerald, blue sapphire, garnet, and tanzite stone, which reflect these rainbow colors when light reflects from them. It is a Vedic tradition that having stones which resonate to these color vibrations will in turn unblock or balance these same areas in the human body.

All SHAKTIgem craftsmanship and gems are guaranteed, and our jewelry uses only authentic fine gemstones (diamond, ruby, emerald, sapphire, pearl, and so on) as indicated in the Vedas. The tradition is that there will be a little bit of effect as soon as you wear the piece, but full effect does not start until the tenth day, increasing towards day 40. Try the jewelry for 10 days, and if you are not satisfied, you can return it for a full refund.
